Gateway to continue providing homelessness support across Bury following contract win

Calico’s Gateway Services have retained the floating support service contract in Bury and will continue to provide vital homelessness prevention services across the area.

Following a tendering process for the contract by Bury Council, Gateway will continue to provide the service for four more year with the possibility of an extension until September 2029.

For more than 10 years, Gateway have been providing support for people in Bury who are at risk of losing their home. The including prevention services such as 1-1 appointments, income maximisation and drop in sessions.

Last year, Gateway helped over 900 people in Bury through homelessness support whilst achieving 100% customer satisfaction.

Gateway also provide a range of housing and accommodation support services across the North West.

Gateway support a range of people under different circumstances including people who are rough sleeping, families who are struggling to afford to stay in their current homes and refugees who are escaping conflict.

For over a decade, our team has been committed to making a real difference in the lives of those facing homelessness having supported over 900 people in Bury, and we look forward to continuing our positive impact on the area.
