Supported Accommodation

What we do

We provide a safe and accessible space for homeless individuals to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.

We work with the most vulnerable members of the community, people who are committed to make positive changes in their lives but face challenges due to complex needs, including those who have experienced homelessness, ex-offenders, and those recovering from drug or alcohol dependence.

How we can support

Accommodation is provided alongside support to help people live as independently as possible. We know that many individuals have multiple needs.

Our Gateway Burnley facility is a state-of-the-art wellbeing hub, which covers the Hyndburn, Pendle, Rossendale, Ribble Valley and Burnley council areas, and we have other supported accommodation at locations across Lancashire and Greater Manchester including Bury and Lancaster.

Residents are able to access a range of essential services and intensive support provided by our highly-skilled, positive, and non-judgemental team.

Who we help

Our service is focused on the person who needs support. By providing supported accommodation we can help to improve people’s wellbeing and quality of life. We look at building resilience and developing strengths, helping people live life to the fullest.

Homelessness code of guidance
Supported housing is for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness

“If I had to choose one reason why Gateway worked for me, it would be the dedicated, caring and genuine team of staff.

Each of the team have something in common, they all have experience in their lives with addiction, homelessness or mental health issues. That the staff have fought and overcome these issues was absolutely vital in my own recovery.

I found it easier to accept and take on board their help and advice which then helped my own motivation, seeing evidence in front of me that the advice worked for them.”
