Opening doors to a better tomorrow

Gateway provide help for people who are homeless, or at risk of losing their home. We support people from a wide range of circumstances, including people who are rough sleeping, families who are struggling to afford to stay in their current homes, and refugees who have left their homes to escape conflict.

Whatever your circumstances, we work with you to understand your needs and goals, focus on practical solutions, and help you to achieve sustainable, long-term change for a better future.

We offer assistance to refugee families as they find a home across Lancashire.

Our Resettlement team support refugees with housing related support and integrating refugees into the local community. so that after the first year they understand life in the UK, and where to go for support to meet their needs.

“I cannot imagine how I could possibly have been helped any more. The amount of kindness I have been shown has on occasion brought me close to tears. I most definitely feel listened to by staff. Now I am at Gateway in Lancaster, I definitely feel safe – it is so peaceful and a nice mix of people live here. Absolutely amazing support.”
